Arjun Moorthy - Founder
Arjun Moorthy holds a postgraduate degree in Nanoscience and Technology. He emphasizes technologies for materials manufacturing and research services, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing materials science. With around 9 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, Arjun is actively driving sustainable growth and technological advancement, aligned with India’s vision of ‘Vikshit Bharat’ (developed India).

Dr. Madhav Datta- Senior Scientific advisor
Dr. Madhav Datta is an R&D professional with extensive experience in academic and industrial research. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from H.B. Technological Institute, Kanpur, MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, and his doctorate from the Materials Department of Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland in 1975. Dr. Datta’s professional affiliations included the Materials Department of EPFL (1973-84), IBM’s T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, New York (1985-1999); Intel’s Logic Technology Development, Portland, Oregon (1999-2003); and Emerson Network Power’s Cooligy Precision Cooling, Mountain View, California (2003- 2013). In 2014, he joined the Coimbatore campus of Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetham University as the Chairman of Amrita Center for Industrial Research and Innovation (ACIRI) and a Distinguished Professor in the Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Department. Currently he is a Professor Emeritus in the School of Engineering. Dr. Datta is Cited among the top 2% of scientists in the world. He is a recipient of the Electrodeposition Research Award of the Electrochemical Society, USA. He is an innovator with forty- nine issued US Patents. He has over one hundred scientific publications and is the author/editor of several books on Electrochemical Processing & Micro/Nanoelectronics. He co-edited a series on New Trends in Electrochemical Technology. He has held several professional administrative positions including divisional chairs in the Electrochemical Society (ECS) and the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE). He has presented keynotes and invited lectures in internation conferences. Dr. Datta chaired the Technology Working Group and Technology Implementation Group of National Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (NEMI, Washington DC) and developed a first of its kind technology roadmap of energy storage systems for the electronics industry.
Dr. Sudip Kumar Batabyal - Scientific advisor-energy storage, energy production devices
Dr. Sudip Kumar Batabyal, specializing in physics, energy storage, production, and the development of advanced materials for practical applications. He is also Chairperson and Professor at the Department of Physics, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore. With over decades of research experience in nanomaterials for renewable energy. He has been recognized in Stanford University’s esteemed list of the world’s top 2% scientists. Sudip’s expertise includes semiconducting nanomaterials, perovskite materials, printed electronics, and energy harvesting. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from Vinoba Bhave University and a Ph.D. from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (Jadavpur University).
Previously, Sudip conducted research at the National University of Singapore and Energy Research Institute @ Nanyang Technological University (ERI@N). His achievements include developing solution-processed solar cells with over 10% efficiency and advancing fabrication techniques for CIGS solar cells. His research, published in top journals such as Nature Communication and Advanced Materials, focuses on materials for energy applications.
Dr. Nikhil K. Kothurkar - Scientific advisor- Environmental remediation Technology
Dr. Nikhil K. Kothurkar received his B.E. in Polymer Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, University of Pune. He pursued graduate studies at the University of Florida, focusing on Materials Science and Engineering under Dr. Anthony B. Brennan, specializing in inorganic-organic particulate nanocomposites for infrared optical sensor protection. After earning his Ph.D. in 2004, titled “Solid State Cadmium Sulfide-Polymer Nanocomposites,” he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Florida’s Solar Energy and Energy Conversion Laboratory. His work included developing sol-gel photocatalyst coatings and hydrocarbon polymer electrolyte membranes for fuel cells.
Subsequently, Dr. Kothurkar served as a Research Scientist at the Clean Energy Research Center, University of South Florida, focusing on photocatalysis and biomedical device applications, and hydrogen production from biomass gasification. His current interests span nanomaterials, photocatalysis, biomedical devices, water treatment, and alternative energies. Currently, he teaches Environmental Science and Engineering and Materials Science at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Dr. Mohan Raj Subramaniam Mentor – Material science and photovoltaics
Dr. Mohan Raj Subramaniam is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at KPR Educational Institutions, Coimbatore. With a rich background in materials science and chemistry more than 20 Research publications, Dr. Subramaniam has made notable contributions to the fields of photovoltaics, optoelectronics, and advanced material synthesis. His extensive research experience includes previous roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at institutions such as Jeonbuk National University, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Dr. Subramaniam’s work has focused on synthesizing Perovskite Quantum Dots, developing high-efficiency solar cells, and enhancing material properties for various applications. Holding a PhD from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, he has a proven track record in both academic research and industry, driving innovation and advancing scientific knowledge in his field.
Dr. Sathish Kumar - Mentor-Energy storage devices
Dr. Sathish Kumar is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tunghai University, Taiwan, where he is currently focused on developing deep eutectic solvent (DES) based electrolytes for temperature-tolerant batteries. With a robust background in energy storage and materials science, Dr. Kumar has previously served as a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR India, where he developed prototype devices and published influential research on supercapacitors. His career also includes a role as a Technical Associate at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, contributing significantly to research and development. Additionally, Dr. Kumar has a unique background as a Radio Jockey, having hosted numerous live programs and interactive shows. He holds a PhD in Energy Storage from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and has expertise in the synthesis of nanomaterials and advanced battery technologies. Dr. Kumar’s diverse experience and innovative research continue to drive advancements in the field of energy storage.
